MORE ABOUT JESUS

By Christopher Fulkerson

Jesus was wrong when he said there is no greater gift than to lay down one’s life for a friend.    It is a much greater gift, and one that is not advisable to give, to lay down one’s life for an enemy.   This is what we are being required to do whenever we die in situations, including but not limited to battles, in which we are involved due to the policies of factions within our own government to which we are ourselves opposed. And this un-offered “gift” is not limited to lives lost in wars.    Any time a person’s life is changed too much from what they want, due to political machinations they personally disapprove, they experience a form of death, and give a far greater gift than that of laying down their life for a friend.
